Misunderstanding Wikipedia and editing
In her article "Wikipedia Once Rejected, Now Accepted in the Classroom", Susan D'Agostino and some of the professors she cites misunderstand Wikipedia, especially its limitations and fundamental misconceptions. At the same time, defiantly at least, they confuse "publishing" with "review". The title of the article caught my attention: from “rejected” to “accepted”. There is no exact one. A small number of cases, mostly in second-year medical school classes, do not create a "hug" and are certainly not a "trend." More importantly, no one tells the truth about Wikipedia: entries are not reviewed, signed, or attributed; without verification of facts or investigation of the circumstances. This is what invalidates the use of Wikipedia for any legitimate or respected purpose, academic or more general. https://thewikiinc.livejournal.com/414.html https://www.launchora.com/story/the-wiki-inc-thewikiinc https://geniusghostwriter.blogspot.com/20
